Are you among the many who will be setting New Year resolutions? You might want to consider NOT setting any resolutions as your resolution for 2008. After all, if you are going to change your life in 2008, why put the pressure of a resolution on yourself? Why not just accept the fact that there are things you would like to change in your life and focus on changing them? It doesn’t get much easier than that. And if you are lucky, you will always have things in your life you would like to change. After all, growth is a natural process. At one time in your life you probably just wanted a car – any car so you could cruise with your buddies. Once you had a car, you might have wanted a new car; then a sportscar, etc. We grow and change and desire is the spark that fuels that growth.
So, what might you want to change this year? Maybe you want to lose weight. So, focus on being the size you want to be and let the Universe work out the details. Maybe you will end up joining a gym and loving it. You might end up finding a new sport that you love, or you might find a new way of eating that satisfies you. If you stay focused on the size you are going to be, then you won’t lock yourself into a year of misery. I mean, gym memberships surge in January. But there is a reason that the gym is packed in January, less full in February, and so on. Now I personally love lifting weights so I’m definitely not trying to discourage you from joining a gym. What I am saying, is that every person is different and if you are open to life, a solution will come to you if you stay focused and jump when the opportunity presents itself.
Do you want to find a love in 2008? So, focus on the perfect mate. Figure out what you want in a person and focus every day on that. Be open, get out there, and let the Universe bring them to you.
One thing I learned years ago that is a wonderful tool is to take stock of what had changed in my life over the past year. It is amazing just how much of a difference a year can make if you let it. So this year, I hope that you will take stock of where you are now, and next year you will find that 2008 has been your best year yet.
Of course, if you need help with any of your goals or intentions, please contact us at www.intendingbliss.com and we will be glad to schedule you in for a life transforming month of miracles. Regardless, I hope 2008 is your best year yet!
