Teresa's business success story

In addition to today’s entry with your Valentine’s love tip, I wanted to post a Law of Attraction success story today.  I have a friend, Teresa Cline, who was in Afghanistan with me.  I started Intending Bliss while there and needed pictures for my website, blog, ezine articles, etc.  Well what are the odds of finding a portrait photographer in the middle of a war zone?  Pretty darn good if you put out the intention and let the Universe fulfill your request.  Along came Teresa two days before she left base and she offered to take some photos for me.  Although I had known her, I had no idea before that day that she was a photographer.  The ones you see of me online were taken by her with her basic “desert proof” camera with no stylist, makeup artist, or major equipment.  It was just me, her, our camp, and her digital camera but she managed to get shots that were good enough for my needs.

Are you blocking what you want to manifest?

I just spoke with a friend of mine who had the intention of travelling.  She was recently offered the opportunity to take a wonderful trip.  Her immediate thought was “what about the kids?  What if my son is still nursing?” but she realized what she was doing.  She stopped herself and decided not to worry about the how and be grateful for the what.  Shortly thereafter she received a phone call letting her know that she was welcome to bring her husband and children.  As soon as she allowed things to happen they did.

There is a lesson in here for all of us.  We decide we want things but I think we can all relate to panicking when they appear sometimes.  Maybe they aren’t in the exact form we anticipated, maybe we just haven’t let all of the details work themselves out, or maybe we just didn’t think we would ever really have what we want.  This is one of the many ways we can block what we ask for. 

Change can be frightening.  Have you ever gotten your dream job and panicked thinking you couldn’t do it?  Have you ever received an opportunity and thought you didn’t deserve it?  These issues can be found and removed with practice and visualization but the important thing is to notice when you are blocking something in this way and rectify it.

Amazing Weight Loss Success Story Update

I had to do a "Wendy" update for all of those who were wondering if she made her goal.  (For those new to join us, read the entry of October 20 for the start of Wendy's story.)  She was going to shop on November 1, but she just couldn't wait.  She went shopping on October 27, which was 19 days after starting with Intending Bliss.  She lost two full pant sizes doubling her goal!  She still isn't dieting nor has she started a formal exercise program.  She only changed her thoughts about herself and the rest just fell into place with the weight falling off. 

We are so proud of you Wendy!  You set a wonderful example of what we all can manifest if we just follow the program.  Keep it up!

Work Life Balance in the Work Place - Intend and Contract Help!

I spend most of my time pointing out to other people when their intentions are manifesting so telling those stories is easy.  Today I’d like to take a moment to share one of my own.  On September 19, 2007 I intended to have my website completed within one month.  I had no webmaster and no idea how this was going to happen.  In addition I had no idea how to tell someone what I even wanted on a website so I couldn’t just go to one of the popular sites like guru.com and put it out there for bid. 

Well, my business mentor, Darcy Hoag (part of the famous Joe Vitale team) recommended Eve Jackson at www.detailssbs.com.  I visited her website, eventually scrolled to the bottom of the page, and discovered of all things, a rose.  Okay, like Laura, I can take a hint.  So I contacted her. 

She asked me a whole bunch of questions, which I could actually answer since she asked them in English!  She had pictures to me within a day of possible options and we were on our way.  She guided me every step of the way telling me what she needed from me and she built the perfect website within my timeline.  It isn’t quite complete but what she told me would be done is definitely done and ahead of schedule.  She will continue to work with us as we grow and now a website is one less thing  I need to worry about while building my business.  Not once did Eve say “we can’t do that”.  She gave me options and solutions.  She is not only great with people, but she is artistic as well as knowing how to make all these things work. 

Okay, I didn’t mean for this to be an advertisement for Eve, it is just that I am so excited to have found someone who makes one aspect of business so easy and all it took was an intention to get it started!

The Law of Attraction success story - Babette

Intending Bliss is my brainchild, but there are many other people involved without which there would be no Intending Bliss.  One of these people is Laura.  She is an outstanding coach and also happens to be my sister.  I think you can expect to see stories on her and her manifestations sprinkled through here.  To introduce you to her exceptional understanding and use of the Law of Attraction, I offer the following story. 

Laura wanted an Italian Greyhound but she didn’t think it was the right time to commit to training a new puppy with her busy schedule at work.  She decided the ideal time would be in February or March since people told her that Italian Greyhound pups train more easily in the cold and her work schedule would slow down considerably.  But she really wanted a puppy.   She started researching the breed online to get her fill of cute pictures as well as look at potential breeders.  While surfing, she came across a breeder online from a town that sounded familiar.  It turned out a friend was from there.  When she opened the site the style was “renaissance Italian.”  As she continued to scroll through it, it was designed with background roses.  A rose is a personal symbol for her so she decided this was a breeder she wanted to look into. 

When she called the breeder to find out when they were planning puppies, the breeder asked why she wanted one in March.  Laura explained her schedule and reasoning behind her thoughts.  The breeder mentioned a 6 month old puppy she recently decided she would have to part with.  Initially this dog was going to be kept by the breeder and shown but circumstances changed.  Laura wanted a female and this one was.  The pup was fully trained so she wouldn’t have to worry about training.  When the breeder told her the dog’s name, Laura realized it was the dog her son saw online and wanted but it wasn’t for sale at the time.  She was the exact color Laura had hoped to find.

The puppy was four hours away so there was a question on how to get her.  That issue was instantly solved when Laura’s friend offered to come along because he knew the area.  When they arrived, everyone bonded instantly – it was love at first sight.  The puppy’s personality couldn’t have been better suited for Laura and her family.  “Babette” went home with them that day.  From the decision to get a puppy, to complete manifestation was a period of about two weeks.  Isn’t it amazing what the Universe will bring us if we just put it out there and have faith?
